Memorial Day 2025
On May 26, 2025, King Memorial Park welcomed families, veterans, and community members for a powerful Memorial Day Celebration commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. It was a day filled with reverence, unity, and heartfelt gratitude for all who have served our country.
With Senator Benjamin T. Brooks, Sr. delivering a moving keynote address and the New Hope Christian Baptist Church Choir lifting spirits through music, the event became a memorable tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our veterans—especially the African American servicemen who served with distinction.
We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who joined us. Your presence made this day truly special. Together, we honored lives lost, celebrated service rendered, and stood in community pride.
At King Memorial Park, we believe remembrance should be more than a moment—it should be a movement. Let us continue to carry forward the spirit of our veterans, not only on Memorial Day, but every day.
We honor. We remember. We thank you.
